Hi Gary, This is the third or fourth time that I've
visited your website, but only the first that I've signed the Guestbook. Thank
you for talking with me today and sharing what the Lord has taught you about
brokenness, which God in His wisdom uses to polish our spiritual lenses so that
we can clearly see both the reality of this fallen world as well as the glory of
our secured Salvation in Christ. You called me right after I had finished
praying, and I praise God for ministering to me through you. Thank you for being
so willing to serve the Lord -- He does amazing things through you. You're in my
prayers. Enough of that -- on to lighter things.... I really enjoy your website;
I looked at the Variations, and I prefer the 2nd variation to the first.
Beautiful site -- love the photos, especially. God bless you, Gary. Taylor

touched me, I got goosebumps while I was reading it. You have a very unique way
of expressing yourself. Now I know where
Solegets her

NC USA - Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at 12:18:22 (PDT) I just went through every link, the pictures are ALL
good. I tried to type the address in the url bar and it would not come up, so I
did a search for it and it took me to a page about your parents. At first I
wasn't sure if it was a part of your website, but as I read the words I knew it
was you, your style of writing, vocabulary, and mostly the content about your
mother. I remembered the things you told me about her and it all clicked.
Thankfully there was a home link on that page that took me to the page I was
looking for. From there I visited the entire site, why because it was intriquing-hope
I spelled that right. This site barely touches on the life you have lead. Please
make sure Sole' knows
my phone number and address, I wish she would write me, but she doesn't know me
so I do understand. But if and when you are no longer in this world I would like
to know, and maybe she would tell me? I read the other quessbook entries, and
found one from Paula I really have to agree with. An excerpt is as follows:
"Those veiwing this page have had to realize that you have seen into the genius,
creativness and very personal side of a facinating man. A rare man who is
unafraid to reveal his inner most being. A man deeply tormented by the unjust. A
man I am proud to call my FRIEND". "Some have tried to destroy this friendship
with wrecklessness but what they didn't bargain for was the God ordained family
in us. God crossed our paths many years ago and that cross remains firm and
stands strong. I am honored to be among your confidantes". Ditto!

a picture is worth a thousand words and that is defintely true with this site...
You can feel like you've just read a whole book on your life through the
pictures and comments you have included... It is amazing how each life is so
special and has a unique story to tell- as your site shows. But there is even
better news- as believers in Jesus- we get to spend an eternity together sharing
and creating beautiful memories and moments with no pain, no evil, no sin, and
no death.. It will be time without end where we fellowship, and worship and
live. A time when families will be reunited- My prayer is for Jesus to return
soon- (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) to gather us together in the clouds to go to
Heaven. It has been a joy to know Gary and to count him a friend.... Pastor Joe

I like how many of the pictures tell the story of your
life... How old is your daughter now? Do you still keep in contact with her?
Anyways the URL above is for my myspace account which has some pictures and
links up with my journal which in turn links up with any other sites I have

~ I am so happy to have my dad as my
father. He has stood my my side through every opsticle in my life. My dad has
taught me that no matter how hard life get's, you must hold on and push yourself
to the top. No matter how bad it seems there's always a blessing in each of our
lives...patience and strength will get you through any duration. My dad has been
there to guide me when I needed guidance, and to stand back when I needed to
learn. My dad saw my son as a blessing, as I was to him. I love my father very
much. I feel like I have come to a point in my life I can now see what my dad
sees. I can feel as a parent as he feels. I hope I can achieve as he has
acheived and make him proud of me. I love you daddy! Happy birthday:)

Hi Gary, I just got off the phone with you and I am
smiling, smiling cause you make me feel good, no matter how distressed your life
is you always think of us and have good things to say that lifts me up. I want
to thank you for that. I have never met you in person, but through the years and
the house fire, etc., I have grown close to you, you have listen to me complain,
cry, ash why and search for meaning to my existence and purpose in this life
through all the horrible events in my life. Through your eyes, and your faith I
now see the answers to my questions. And oh how I have learned to deal so much
better.. :) ha and who'd a thought we would become so close just from using my

USA - Sunday, January 09, 2005 at 14:34:34 (PST) ~When you asked me to read what
you had to say at the end of the picture of you giving me a hug I reacted
somewhat calloused, or as though I was not affected. But it did bring a tear to
my eye...
I love you daddy, and as I've not shown through the
years and have most often said 'I love you' at the wrong times....I must
have chained my existence to repetitive action. I seem to reiterate all that has
ever been in my life. So with keeping the ritual alive I must then continue to
say "I love you" at the wrong times.
I love you....
Elijah will know who you are and what a great father
you have been to me. I hope through genetics maybe he'll have a part of you in
him. Maybe a hopeless romantic, a poet who loves life like no other person I've
met before. I love you daddy

~This is my song about
my dad
I wrote:
I cried; he blew a 'solomn kiss', (it was his life I
thought I missed).
He held me tight, but I still had fear, because my
truth I thought was clear....
Too many sorrows in my yesterday's tomorrow's too
many tears, to many fears.. in my traveled years.
I tried to live like he, to find my destiny
He held me tight and he said, "Close your eyes, so
you can find your peace of mind."
His solomn kiss - he's like a butterfly he still
moves on, but his beauty never dies.
